SPDB offers foreign currency savings in GBP, HKD, USD, CHF, FRF, SGD, JPY, CAD, AUD, and EUR. Other convertible currencies could be deposited after being changed into the above currencies according to the exchange rate on the specific date.
FX deposits accounts may be further classified into two types, namely, foreign exchange accounts and foreign currency cash accounts.

FX time savings feature a tenor pre-set by the depositor and full- sum withdrawal at due date. Interest rates payable by the bank vary according to the different tenors.
Minimum deposit amount: USD 50 or equivalent;
Tenors: 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 1 year and 2 year.
The tenor shall be extended upon the maturity according to the interest rate promulgated on the maturity day.
FX Current Savings | | | |
FX current savings feature flexibility of withdrawal and no limit for the deposit amount or tenor. Generally, a minimum deposit amount of USD 20 or equivalent is required.
