| According to the stipulations of Regulations on Savings, certificate of deposits, deposits pass-book that bears the depositor's name could be reported for loss while those bearing no depositor name could not be acclaimed. Once a depositor loses a C/D, pass-book or a personal chop, he/she shall bring his/her ID card and submit written acclamation material that includes name, time to open the account, deposit type, deposit amount, account number and address, etc. to the branch with whom he/she has opened the account. On very special occasions, the depositor can report the loss orally, yet written acclamation shall be made within five days. When the loss report is accepted by the bank, no more withdrawal can be made. However, any loss incurred due to withdrawal(s) made before the bank has accepted the loss report shall not be borne by the bank.
