You may go directly to a nearby SPDB branch and apply for the overseas study loan once you meet the following basics |

- You are a Chinese citizen or a resident in China.
- You have a full-time job and stable income.
- You have obtained a housing loan from our bank and placed the property concerned in mortgage with SPDB being the beneficiary.
(Other regulations and stipulations concerning qualifications of a borrower are also applicable here.) You shall provide the following documents to the bank |

- A valid ID card and certificate of permanent residence.
- A certificate of marital status.
- A certificate of income.
- A housing loan contract signed with SPDB (including the mortgage contract).
- Credit Line application From (available at any SPDB branch).
- Other documents required by the bank.

If you place the proprietary residential house to be bought on mortgage, the maximum loan amount that SPDB will grant shall not exceed 80% of the price of the property. If you place the proprietary commercial-purpose house to be bought on mortgage, the maximum loan amount that SPDB will grant shall not exceed 60% of the price of the property.

The credit facility granted by SPDB will have a validity period up to 3 year and shall not exceed the due date of the housing loan.
Guarantee for the Credit Facility |

The credit facility offered to a borrower, as well as the corresponding housing loan, shall be secured with property to be bought as the mortgage.
Repayment |

Repayment of each loan under the credit facility shall be made in accordance with SPDB's relevant regulations and stipulations concerning personal consumption loans. A borrower shall repay the principal and interests accrued at the due date if the loan has a tenor within 1 year. For loans with a tenor over 1 year, a borrower may choose one of the repayment patterns as follows:

Should any regulatory readjustment be made in the interest rates during the loan period, the interest rate for the loan in question shall not be adjusted. For loans with a tenor over 1 year, starting from the first due date in the next year, the interest rate shall be reset once a year, with the first due date each year being the specific day for such rate resetting. Starting from the first due date each year, the regulatory loan rates promulgated by the People's Bank of China on January 1st of the year shall apply. Should any disparity of interest rates occur during the period, the interests shall be calculated separately according to the different rates.
