According to the relevant state regulations on foreign exchange management for non-trades, SPDB offers RMB and FX conversion services under non-trades for individual customers, including: conversion of FX banknotes, encashment of FX deposits/ FX check/ Traveler's Check/ FX Credit Card/ Traveler's Credit Card and so on.

At present, SPDB offers conversion services between 8 foreign currencies, namely, USD, GBP, JPY, HKD, DEM, FRF, AUD, CAD.
Exchange Rate | | |
For FX conversion to RMB business, exchange rate is the same as the FX banknote buying rate or FX buying rate offered by SPDB on the date.
Relevant regulations | | |
Foreigners may apply to convert RMB to FX before their departure from China. Passport and the FX conversion demo (6 months valid) issued by the bank on the FX buying date shall be required.
