"Messenger Service" is a service newly developed by SPDB to provide detailed information on changes of your account(s) and investment financial information through short message services of mobiles and emails to the Orient cardholders.
  • Timely information on any change of your account(s)
    When customers withdraw cash from ATMs or at the bank's Teller Counter, consume by POS at designated shops, make FX deals, purchase open-end funds, or any other deals including payroll and withholding service that result in any change of balance of their account(s), they can receive notice simultaneously from the bank.
  • Invaluable assistant for personal asset management
    When a customer's loan is due in 3 days, or wins the right to subscribe for IPO or receives dividends and interests, or any of his/her FX deal is settled or declined, or when a customer's purchase of open-end fund is executed or instruction for transaction becomes invalid, the bank will send out the related notice simultaneously so as to assist the customer in his/her personal asset management.
  • Customized configuration
    Customers can set the basis amount for information notice, thus receiving information when changes of balance occur above the specified amount and avoiding influx of unwanted information. Customers can also set time period for incoming information, thus avoiding being disturbed by sudden information.
  • Free and Convenient application
    Customers can apply for this service upon completing an application form with your own orient card, ID card and mobile phone at any of the outlets of the bank. Besides, customers can also log on the e-bank and complete the application for service. During promotion time, all the messages are free of charge.
  • Multiple choices of notice
    At present, all the notice will be sent in the form of short message, and in the near future, the bank will provide email notice for customers' personal reference.
